My new baby is at Dad's right now until I can get some new parts installed. I've got it cleaned up and running , but I need to get rid of these handlebars and cables.
It runs good , but the shocks are a bit soft. No they are wore out !

After my beautiful wife checked it out and put her approval on it , it was time to ride.

Here Barry and I entertained Dad with our not so perfect skills in the back yard. Dad has really been a big help with all his manufacturing skills and just good old fashion know how. What a great guy.

Here is Larry Dixons new ride alittle different look from the miller lite car.His new sponsor is skytel ,its some kind of gps,security alarm company.Not quite as cool as a beer sponsor but I will still root for him in top fuel.

Funny Car ace Ron Capps posted the quickest (unofficial) quarter-mile pass of his lengthy career -- a near-would be-world-record 4.678 at 325.92 mph -- in his Brut Dodge Charger R/T Saturday to highlight the action at the annual National Time Trial test session at Firebird International Raceway. Capps was joined on the leaderboard by his Don Schumacher Racing teammate Tony Schumacher, who ran a trio of 4.4-second passes in his U.S. Army Top Fuel dragster to top his class.

After John Force, who was second with a 4.708 in the Castrol GTX Ford, Capps had friendly company on the time sheets as DSR stablemates 'Fast Jack' Beckman (4.736), Mike Ashley (4.744), and Gary Scelzi (4.751) finished the day third, fourth, and fifth, respectively. Schumacher's stunning best elapsed time of 4.442 at 326.08 mph was only partially threatened by Brandon Bernstein's 4.487 at 328.46 mph in his Budweiser dragster. Check out the new driver from austraila making his nhra debut in the U.S.He has got steve irwins name on his hood to remember him thats pretty cool.Its going to be an exciting season!His name is Garry Mcgrath they call him "outback mac".

huntin season

Huntin season is just around the corner,dont know how much I will get in but ill do the best I can .Between taking kids to school & picking them up ,soccer practice twice a week,soccer games,girl scouts.It might be later in the year when I find time to be able sit in the woods and not worry about having to be anywhere.Although the best time for bow hunters is early season,when deer dont have alot of pressure on them,like these deer that find thereselves in my yard every other day.If they keep coming up in my yard when huntin season starts I will be able to open my window and stick one before I take the kids to school.But if you know deer huntin you know they wont be no where in sight when it starts.Here is a picture of a deer I caught pissing in the field.I didnt know it was peeing till I put the pictures on my computor,I thought it was standing funny till I looked close.But any way I will try to keep posting more often!!!

We went to Iowa last weekend to my cousins Lindsays wedding,and while we were up there we went over to des moines to see grandma septer.While we were visiting grandma pulled out some letters she found from me,jenny &barry.They were quite amusing!Here is jennys ,by the way if you cant remember 'nkotb' stands for new kids on the block.

Boat trip coming up!!This was our boat trip three years ago.Thats Jeff Wallace standing up a buddy of mine in Ill.And Tommy,& Joe in the chairs,im sure if they could they would stand up too.But this was the afternoon a bottle of crown was being passed around.We were tied to trees docked for the night, it was time to break out the hard stuff!what a f$#% good time!!

dads trials

While dad was out tearing up the trials courses me,red & caulkboy were hard at work in the pit area.While we were in bristol I was checking out their pit area man those guys had a walk in the park compared to what our job was.It took caulkboy& red both to hold that truck down,that chair was no match for my ass.But as you can see we got pretty thirsty.We had a great time!
